5. Bleaching Fastness Test: This test evaluates the textile's resistance to color fading caused by bleaching agents. The fabric sample is treated with a specified concentration of a bleaching agent (such as chlorine bleach) and assessed for color change using a gray scale to determine the fabric's bleaching fastness rating.
These tests help textile manufacturers ensure that their products meet the desired colorfastness standards and minimize the risk of fading and staining when the textiles are used or laundered.
