  F150 Flame Spread Tester is suitable for measuring the vertical flame spread performance of single or multi-component clothing,films,curtains and curtains,as well as large tents including pergolas and door covers(coatings,seams,multi-layer,sandwich products,and similar combinations).It is used to evaluate the performance of materials or material combinations in contact with flames under controlled laboratory conditions.

  Technical parameters:
 
  1.Igniter timing:0 to 99.99 seconds can be set arbitrarily.
 
  2.Continuation time,smoldering time,and flame spread time timers:0-99.99 seconds,accuracy:±0.01 seconds.
 
  3.Flame height:adjustable from 10 to 60mm.
 
  4.Flame height measuring device:The ruler has a height of 40mm.
 
  5.Sample holder:a rectangular frame with a height of 560mm.
 
  6.Gas used:Industrial propane or butane gas.
 
  7.Sample size:560mm×170mm.
 
  Operation:
 
  1.Firstly,prepare the accessories and test samples;
 
  2.Open the heat-resistant glass observation window;
 
  3.Turn on the power switch of the instrument to enter the LCD screen operation interface;
 
  4.Turn on the lighting and exhaust switches;
 
  5.Wrap the cotton thread around three fixed brackets;
 
  6.Hang the fixture containing the sample onto the sample holder and secure it;
 
  7.Align the three cotton threads with the scale marks and thread them through the lead ring;
 
  8.On the other end of the line,hang a weight and hang it vertically above the three sensors;
 
  9.Set parameters such as number and ignition time on the LCD screen;
 
  10.Click on【Ignite】;
 
  11.The spray lamp lights up;
 
  12.The flame size can be adjusted through the knob on the instrument panel;
 
  13.Fold down the spray lamp according to the angle required for testing;
 
  14.Push the spray lamp along the track;
 
  15.The sample is ignited;
 
  16.When it reaches the first mark,the cotton thread burns out and the weight falls onto the sensor;
 
  17.Obtain the time of marker 1;
 
  18.When it reaches the second mark,the cotton thread burns and the weight falls onto the sensor;
 
  19.Obtain marker 2 time;
 
  20.When it reaches the third mark,the cotton thread burns and the weight falls onto the sensor;
 
  21.Obtain marker 3 time;
 
  22.Press the timer button on the lower panel to observe the ignition of the sample;
 
  23.The flame goes out,the timing ends,and the numerical value is obtained;
 
  24.Click[Print]to obtain test data;
 
  25.Save to view data;
 
  26.Analyze and compare the data obtained from testing to evaluate the fire spread performance of the material.
