Composition and structure of Velcro fatigue strength tester

The Velcro fatigue strength tester is used to test the Velcro (Magic tape) by repeatedly peeling and fitting. After a certain number of times, the weight of the roller itself is used to roll the test piece to make it fit evenly, and then the adhesion and adhesion strength are measured with a separately purchased tensile testing machine.

Test principle:
The hook side and the wool side (also called the loop side) of the Velcro are fixed on two rollers with diameters of 162.5 mm and 160 mm respectively. The hook side and the wool side Velcro of the two rollers are in contact, and a certain load is added according to their width. The lower roller is the power wheel, which drives the load roller to rotate repeatedly so that the Velcro fixed on the roller is continuously fitted and peeled off to achieve the purpose of fatigue.

The whole machine is mainly composed of the following parts:
1. Counterweight: used in conjunction with the driven wheel, the pressure is 5kg.
2. Driving wheel: diameter 160mm, driven by the motor to rotate, the speed is 60rpm, and the direction is reversed every 30s. The ring surface is fixed on the driving wheel.
3. Driven wheel: diameter 162.5mm, driven by the driving wheel to rotate. The hook surface is fixed on the driven wheel.
4. Counter: set and display the number of movement circles.
5. Buttons: including emergency stop button, start, and pause button.
