Test method for hydrostatic pressure test of fabrics

The fabric hydrostatic pressure tester is suitable for liquid permeability testing of melt-blown fabrics, outdoor sportswear, umbrellas, waterproof fabrics, medical protective clothing materials, jackets, and other materials, and is used to evaluate the waterproof performance of materials.

Test methods:
1. Pressure method: The hydrostatic pressure on the fabric is used to indicate the resistance encountered by water passing through the fabric. Under standard atmospheric conditions, one side of the sample is subjected to a continuously rising water pressure until water seepage occurs at three locations, and the pressure at this time is recorded.
2. Pressure holding time method: Under specified conditions, one side of the coated fabric sample to be tested is subjected to a continuously rising water pressure until the specified water pressure value is reached. Within the specified time, observe whether there is water penetration or continue to pressurize until there is water penetration.
