Maintenance of concrete mixer
2025/02/17
Concrete mixers can be divided into two categories according to their working principles: self-falling and forced types.
Self-falling concrete mixers are suitable for mixing plastic concrete.
The mixing action of forced mixers is stronger than that of self-falling mixers, and they are suitable for mixing dry hard concrete and light aggregate concrete.
Maintenance
1 Maintain the cleanliness of the machine body and remove dirt and obstacles on the machine body.
2 Check the oil, circuits and control equipment at each lubrication point, and add lubricating oil as required.
3 Before each shift, add water to the mixing drum and run it idle for 1-2 minutes, and check the reliability of the clutch and brake device at the same time.
4 During the operation of the concrete mixer, the noise of the motor, reducer, and transmission gear should be checked at any time to see if it is normal and whether the temperature rise is too high.
5 After each shift, the concrete mixer should be carefully cleaned.
Precautions
1. The concrete mixer should be set in a flat position, and the front and rear axles should be padded with square wood to make the tires high and empty to avoid moving when starting.
2. The concrete mixer should implement secondary leakage protection. After the power is turned on before work, it must be carefully checked and can only be used after the empty vehicle test is qualified.
During the test run, the mixing drum speed should be checked to see if it is appropriate. Under normal circumstances, the empty vehicle speed is 2~3 revolutions faster than the heavy vehicle (after loading). If the difference is large, the ratio of the driving wheel to the transmission wheel should be adjusted.
3. The rotation direction of the mixing drum should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow. If it is not true, the motor wiring should be corrected.
4. Check whether the transmission clutch and brake are flexible and reliable, whether the wire rope is damaged, whether the track pulley is in good condition, whether there are obstacles around, and the lubrication of various parts.
5. After starting up, always pay attention to whether the operation of each component of the concrete mixer is normal. When shutting down, always check whether the blades of the concrete mixer are bent and whether the screws are knocked off or loose.
6. When the concrete mixing is completed or it is expected to stop for more than 1 hour, in addition to draining the remaining material, pour stones and clean water into the shaking drum, turn on the machine, rinse the mortar stuck on the barrel and unload it all.
There should be no water accumulation in the barrel to prevent the barrel and blades from rusting. At the same time, the dust outside the mixing drum should be cleaned to keep the machine clean and intact.
7. After get off work and when the machine is not in use, the power should be turned off and the switch box should be locked to ensure safety.
