This is because the head of the UV lamp is tungsten, its melting point is 3410 ℃, when we light the lamp, the temperature is between 2000 and 3000 ℃, the filament will not melt, sublimation will occur, then the sublimation of tungsten vapor meets the tube wall and condensed into a solid tungsten, making it black, and the UV lamp filament on the two ends of the lamp, so only the two ends become black. When the UV lamp starts to turn black, then it needs to be replaced. Therefore, in order to better extend the life of the lamp, please do not frequently start and shut down the lamp. According to the standard, do not turn off the lamp after the lamp is lit since less than 3 hours.

 

4, UV lamps do not light up. I know that the UV lamp in use, some times the lamp does not light up, some times the point of light. This is because the general use of fluorescent UV aging test chamber are electronic ballast, electronic ballast wiring for the jack type. So some times because of the details of the production process is not very good, which leads to the lamp corner line in the connection with the electronic ballast does not exist on the hidden danger.
