Comparison of Vietnam's yarn exports in September/October 2022

According to the latest statistics, in September 2022, Vietnam's exports of textile and clothing reached 2.725 billion U.S. dollars, down 31.91% YoY and up 19.65% YoY; exports of yarn 115,900 tons, down 6.94% YoY and down 20.01% YoY; imports of yarn 74,800 tons, down 16.52% YoY and up 23.33% YoY; imports of fabric 1.130 billion U.S. dollars, down 6.21% YoY and up 14.12% YoY.

 

From January to September 2022, Vietnam's exports of textile and apparel reached 29.001 billion U.S. dollars, up 27.92% year-on-year; exports of yarn 1.2053 million tons, down 15.36% year-on-year; imports of yarn 807,500 tons, up 2.68% year-on-year; imports of fabric 11.428 billion U.S. dollars, up 12.03% year-on-year.

According to the latest statistics, in October 2022, Vietnam's exports of textile and apparel reached 2.702 billion U.S. dollars, down 0.83% YoY and up 2.21% YoY; exports of yarn 116,700 tons, up 0.64% YoY and down 21.17% YoY; imports of yarn 73,500 tons, down 1.66% YoY and up 0.37% YoY; imports of fabric 1.065 billion, down 5.71% YoY and 3.32% YoY.

 

In January-October 2022, Vietnam's exports of textiles and garments reached $31.703 billion, up 25.24% year-on-year; exports of yarn 1.320 million tons, down 15.19% year-on-year; imports of yarn 880.1 million tons, up 2.48% year-on-year; imports of fabric $12.493 billion, up 10.53% year-on-year.
